Life... 30 December 2005

Well, it's another year pass by. Of course, there are always bad things and good things happening around every one, i.e. for me, emotional break down, financial crisis, doubtful future, new toys etc.

Whatever has happened, I thank God for His mercy that allowed me to live until this day. I recognized that even though it's a tough year, it's going to be tougher and tougher in the coming years. In the middle of this, is a process of growing to know Him and to understand His purpose for me in my life. If somebody asking me what is the purpose of my life that set by Him, I would say that the only purpose that I know since the first day I knew Him, is to walk with Him. As I read from the bible, I recognized that God does not want a robot, but He wants a person with feelings and do things with willingness and sincerity. He wants us to accept Him by our own willingness and not by force, thus it is written in Proverbs - "The preparation of heart is done by man", which after we are willing to prepare our heart for Him, then He will come into our heart and rescue us.

He has performed a lot of miracle during this year, which unfolded His purpose before His churches. I'm looking forward to see His glory shining over the whole world.

He blessed me, even though I'm not blessed with wealth, but I'm still blessed. He has chastens me and corrects me in many of my wrong doings; He trained me to overcome the feeling of loneliness by encourage me through His words; He comforted me when I felt distress; He taught me things on how to be a humble servant; And, He taught me how to give and bless other people.

As 2006 is coming, I'm waiting to fill another white paper by filling in the things that He shall revealed to the church.

Amen

PG GAT-X105 Strike Gundam Done!!!

I've finally done with my Strike Gundam. It took me like 2 sleepless night to finish this fully detailed Gunpla, but it was worth all the hardwork to see the end result.

I'm very amazed with how Bandai design this Gunpla. The leg, hand, torso, and fingers, are all moveable and can pose a lot of pose! It's indeed a job well done by Bandai (Apart from the decal, which is very difficult to stick onto the Strike body due to the cutting of the decal).

I've taken some photoes with it, but I haven't have a chance to upload it yet. I'm waiting for a chance to upload my photoes of my first PG collection. Of course, what is for a Strike if it's without its striker pack, so I'm currently saving money to get the PG Skygrasper with Aile Striker pack.

Finished with the model...

Date: 15 December 2005

The resolution of the pictures is not that nice, but at least I have some pictures to post on my blog for the first time. Looking forward to post more quality pictures of my model.

It's very hard to come out with the pose for the ending scene - showdown of Strike Freedom and Destiny.

I wonder when will Infinity Justice come out, for it's such miss if only 2 of the 3 main characters Gundam are produced in this 1/100 scale.

Date: 12 December 2005

I've finally done with the modelling of Destiny within a day... After I've done with the construction of both Strike Freedom and Destiny, I put both of the Gundams for a pose in the TV series ending, where Destiny's excalibur sabre crashes with Strike Freedom's beam saber. It is very nice to finish both of Gundam. I bought both of the Gundam 3 months ago, but I only decided to assemble them like last week :p.

When I assemble my Seed series Gundam ( Aile Strike 1/100, Aegis 1/100, Buster 1/100, Duel Assault Shroud 1/100, Blitz 1/100, Freedom 1/100, Justice 1/100, Astray Red Frame 1/100) and my MG Master Gundam, I used scissors to cut the parts from the runners, then I used a pen knife to slice away the remaining of the runner.

Then, I bought one of my favourite, MG Wing Zero Custom, which I used the same method as above, but using the sand paper to sand the runner for the final work. It is from MG Wing Zero Custom also, that I decided to paint my Gundam model kit (now known as Gunpla, I think) and also to use putty to plaster the line between the assambled parts. It was a tough process, and even though the end product of my MG Wing Zero Custom doesn't look as nice as the one made by the pro, I'm still okay with it, at least it is not so dull.

After the experience with MG Wing Zero Custom, I decided to buy my self a modelling cutter when I'm constructing my only Seed Destiny series Gundam. It took me quite sometimes to finish Strike Freedom because I'm trying to do some experiment with some new technique that I learnt from other modeller on the Internet. After the experience with Strike Freedom, the construction of Destiny is shorter because I know what to do to faster the construction process.

Due to limited financial resources, I used a different color scheme for my Seed Destiny Gunpla instead of the original coloring scheme. I still maintain most of the original color scheme, which I only change the colour scheme to certain parts, such as the rail gun, small parts of the torso, and etc. I don't have money to buy air brush, compressor, and etc. I used Tamiya color spray can.

Now after I've finished with both Destiny and Strike Freedom, I'm waiting for time to construct my next gunpla - PG Strike Gundam. This is my first PG series, of which I bought at quite a low price. Apart from this PG Strike, I planned to get the Skygrasper with Aile Striker pack, so that I could have a PG Aile Strike :D. But that will be in the future when I have enough money to purchase it, cost the purchasing of PG Strike cause casualties to my wallet :(. Well, have to start to save money for a future house, future car, so that I could have my rooms filled with my Gundam :D
